Pondok Indah Apartments
Jakarta, Indonesia

Following an extensive renovation to an existing four storey building, seven new residential apartments were added along with one retail unit.

The site was excavated at ground floor level to maximise the net usable area and natural daylighting. The roof was raised to provide additional loft bedroom spaces and lightwells inserted to provide daylighting to internal rooms at the lower ground floor level.

The top floor apartments are fully self-contained with built in pantry units, and the lower ground floor apartments share a common pantry. All apartments have individual bathrooms with granite floor and wall tiles used throughout.

Bespoke artwork was commissioned for the apartments and common areas.
